Black Panther is a hero from Marvel comics, and occasional member of the Avengers. He went up against Batman in the Season 5 premiere of Death Battle, and then had his OMM debut against Wolverine afterwards.

History[]
T’Challa was born as the son of T'Chaka, in the hidden technologically advanced country of Wakanda, located in the middle of Africa. T’Chaka was the king of this country, possessing the mantle of the Black Panther. T’Challa was the heir to the throne. He trained hard since childhood to succeed his father and, much to T’Chaka’s disliking, bore a great distaste of politics. One day, T’Chaka decided to open Wakanda to the rest of the world. Unfortunately, he was assassinated during a bombing attack by Wakanda’s greatest enemy: Ulysses Klaw. Soon after this, T’Challa became the king of Wakanda and became the new Black Panther. He would continue the work of his late father, protecting his country against any enemy posing a threat to it.
Personality[]
Black Panther is a calm and disciplined man. He speaks in a controlled manner, and displays little emotions. Black Panther has confidence in his abilities, which sometimes comes across as arrogance. As he was the son of T’Chaka—the leader of Wakanda— thus being the heir to the throne, he worked hard to succeed his father. T’Challa’s training gave him an active mind. Unlike T’Chaka, T’Challa disliked politics. Black Panther is dedicated to keeping his country and people safe and wants to leave a legacy that could even come close to his father’s.
