The Shredder (real name Oroku Saki) is the main villain of the TMNT series. He is the leader of a group of ninjas known as the Foot and the arch-nemesis of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
He fought the Silver Samurai from Marvel Comics in an episode of Death Battle.
